Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist to join a supportive and dynamic team in Bromley. This role involves delivering specialist assessment and intervention across both clinic settings (Beckenham Beacon Hospital) and community home visits. The caseload includes adults with dysphagia, communication disorders, voice difficulties, and stammering.

This position is well-suited to Band 6 or Band 7 therapists with solid experience in acute and community settings, particularly those confident in independently managing dysphagia caseloads. A car driver with access to their own vehicle is essential due to the community element of the post.

• Carry out comprehensive assessments and formulate clear, evidence-based management plans.
• Deliver therapy both in clinic settings and via home visits across the community.
• Independently manage dysphagia patients, including those with acquired neurological conditions.
• Work within acute hospital and community environments to provide continuity of care.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and ensure collaborative working with other professionals.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation in line with professional and service standards.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have:
• A recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree (or equivalent).
• Current HCPC registration.
• Completed RCSLT Newly Qualified SLT competencies (if applicable).
