Product Marketing Manager
About the team
- The Coupang Ads Product Marketing team plays a key role in creating and implementing Coupang Ads’ marketing strategies, which help Coupang’s advertisers increase their revenue and market share, acquire new customers and build brand assets
- The Coupang Ads Product Marketing team collaborates with various internal teams, including Product, Engineer, UX/UI, Sales, and Operation teams, to lead the entire product development process from product development to marketing implementation
Responsibilities
- Create Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for Chinese sellers and plan the launch of new ad products and new features with deep understanding of competitors
- Define the positioning that emphasizes the product’s differentiated values and develop communication plans and messages that can be clearly understood by advertisers
- Manage to ensure that marketing channels and Sales teams communicate in a consistent manner according to message strategies
- Create marketing materials/communication content and conduct sales training sessions
- Provide continuous support for product development and marketing strategy development based on the results of analysis of advertisers’ feedback collected through interviews with advertisers, surveys and sales data
- Work closely with the China sales team to help them deliver the most effective GTM messages to advertisers and jointly plan and operate offline events for advertisers
Required qualifications
- Around 10 years of experience in e-commerce or marketing fields
- Experience in establishing and implementing Go-to-Market strategies
- Experience in running a business with strategic thinking and approach
- Experience in generating insights through market research and storytelling
- Experience in designing and analyzing quantitative/qualitative surveys
- Ability to respond flexibly to changing circumstances
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Fluent in Chinese and English
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, advertising, business, or other related fields
- 10+ years of marketing-related experience or product marketing experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in advertising, digital marketing, or ad tech fields
- Deep understanding of the digital advertising market, trends, and the ad tech ecosystem
- Deep understanding of e-commerce market in China
- Fluent in Korean
