The Red Gate Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the mission of the Central Command Public Affairs (CCPA) Office. In this role you will contribute to the command’s efforts in keeping the American people and regional audiences informed about CENTCOM operations and objectives.

As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and personnel support to CCPA personnel. Your duties will include maintaining personnel records, processing personnel actions, managing military correspondence, and overseeing records management.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain various distribution lists internally and externally.
  • Assist in planning and executing CCPA internal events, including awards and retirement ceremonies.
  • Maintain CCPA's Admin section records management file plan and execute records management for administrative files.
  • Support the CCPA Executive Officer and Senior Enlisted Leader with daily personnel accountability and supply inventory.
  • Assist the CCPA Director and Deputy in day-to-day activities, including meeting coordination and preparation of materials.
  • Prepare and manage correspondence and assist in formatting, preparation, and proofreading of documents.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Previous administrative and/or secretarial experience.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with the Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Knowledge of office applications and systems: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and has the ability to schedule and set up teleconferences in accordance with the command’s policies.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills; ability to maintain records and track correspondence.
  • Ability to plan and execute CCPA internal events.
  • Ability to coordinate administrative activities with other organizational elements and staff sections.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate as a team.
