University Health Network (UHN) is looking for an experienced professional to fill the key role of Administrative Assistant II in our Neuro Rehab Services.

Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant II exercises judgement and independence in the performance of administrative support to the Outpatient Stroke and Acquired Brain Injury Services team and the Program Services Manager. The principle responsibilities include: responding to requests for information and channel communication to the appropriate person(s); communicating effectively with clients, team members and internal and external stakeholders; preparing reports including letters, memos, agendas, spreadsheets using advanced functions of Microsoft Office; maintaining/ordering a current inventory of required forms, stationary supplies and equipment; maintaining written and/or electronic calendar/schedules; booking, coordinating and scheduling appointments, meetings, rooms, etc.; create and maintain clinicians scheduling including replacement for sickness and vacation; collecting/compiling data as needed; managing program specific data bases; creating and maintaining accurate and confidential filing systems; scheduling interviews, preparing interview packages, preparing HR documentation; understanding of, compliance with, and commitment to, patient safety responsibilities and corresponding hospital plans, policies and procedures in order to ensure a safe environment for patients; other related administrative duties, as requested by the Managers.
