About the role:

 

This role is part of the Data and Technology Solutions team within our wider Audience Intelligence & Marketing Science (A.I.M.S) department.

 

You will form part of a team of highly trained ad operations specialists, responsible for all digital data capture, tagging and data management platform integration across all the agency’s clients.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  1. You will line manage and grow a team of ad technology and ad operations specialists including direct line management, goal setting and career management. You will be responsible for resource management, the overall quality of work of the team and growth of the expertise in the agency.
  2. You will be responsible for creating a centre of excellence to deliver advertising technology consulting. Providing best in class technical support and ad operations delivery for the agency’s clients. You will input into the overall commercial success of the Data & Technology Solutions department, feeding into forecasting, tracking and managing of technology consulting revenue/income.
  3. Be part of creating and managing the advertising technology services strategy and execution for clients. This includes working with Client Leads, Digital Planners and the rest of the A.I.M.S leadership to help connect and ensure ad technology is deployed following best practice for our clients. You will work on defining advertising technology strategy, roadmaps and budgets; creating statements of work, platform audits, data capture/tracking documents and identifying partners to deliver on client projects. 
  4. You will be clients’ and account teams’ first point of contact when it comes to Ad Technology Consulting, providing subject matter expertise. You will immerse yourself in clients’ structures, teams, and operational processes to build great understanding of both the agency and client business. You will own the senior internal and client relationships on all digital data tracking matters and lead relationships with senior data partners and technology providers.

 

 

 

Required experience:

Experience managing digital ad operations processes and delivery 

 

Understanding of standard workflows, digital marketing and performance metrics (CPM, CPC, CPA, CTR, ROI, Conversion Rate, etc.)

 

People management and development of a technical focused team

 

Experience related to advertising technologies including ad servers, analytics programmes, ad verification platforms, app tracking solutions

 

Hands-on experience in tag management solutions for example; Google Tag Manager / Tealium / Ensighten / Adobe Launch

  

Desired Skills :

 

Experience in technology implementation project delivery

 

Ability to quickly absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to both technical and non-technical stakeholders alike

 

Experience in leading discovery sessions with clients to deeply understand their businesses, and transform their complex needs into simple technology

 

Experience with working directly with clients and/or internal stakeholders, including leading training sessions, meetings and presentations

 

Thought leadership around key technology vendors & partnerships and regularly knowledge sharing

 

Business leadership, developing advertising technology strategy roadmaps and business cases

 

Skills development, partner certification and service innovation based on evolving technology capabilities

 

Commercial acumen

 

Passion for learning about and using complex technology

 

Enthusiasm, personalism and professionalism when interacting with people of all levels and positions

 

Preferred : 

Consultancy or agency background

Experience related to marketing technologies  marketing clouds, DMP/CDP/CRM platforms, onsite personalisation eg. Adobe Target
