  • Support day-to-day security operations for a portfolio of sensitive government programs
  • Interpret and apply complex security regulations, directives, and policies
  • Develop, refine, and execute program-specific security procedures
  • Conduct facility reviews, readiness checks, compliance assessments, and close-out activities
  • Track, report, and follow through on corrective actions and process improvements
  • Provide briefings to leadership and staff on security requirements, responsibilities, and updates
  • Investigate and document security incidents, including potential information compromises
  • Identify vulnerabilities, risks, and process gaps, and recommend enhancements
  • Support personnel security matters, documentation, training, and onboarding requirements
  • Partner with program managers, technical teams, and external stakeholders to maintain a strong security posture
  • Contribute to security education, awareness initiatives, and team-wide best practices
  • Provide mentorship, support, and guidance to junior security personnel

  • 5–7+ years of experience in security operations, program protection, or related fields
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated experience managing compliance activities, audits, assessments, or operational security programs
  • Strong understanding of classified program requirements, security protocols, and regulatory frameworks
  • Ability to analyze risk, identify gaps, troubleshoot issues, and offer actionable solutions
  • Skilled communicator—written, verbal, and interpersonal—with comfort presenting to leadership
