ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Acting PR & Events Team Lead, you will drive the development and performance of our PR & Events Team while shaping the global perception of Sofascore as a leading sports-tech platform. You’ll work closely with the Founders, build partnerships with media, develop and execute communication strategies, and oversee both internal and external events. 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and develop the PR & Events team through feedback, performance monitoring, and tailored development plans
• Communicate frequently with Founders and C-level leadership
• Define, implement, and manage the PR strategy
• Propose and oversee budget planning and ensure efficient allocation
• Proactively suggest initiatives to drive growth and enhance team and/or project performance
• Manage Sofascore’s corporate image and ensure consistent public communication about company projects and team achievements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives
• Propose & oversee internal and external events
• Collaborate closely with other departments
• Monitor industry trends and implement relevant innovations within PR and events activities
• Maintain a good level of sports knowledge, as it helps with the job

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

• 5+ years of work experience in the PR & communications industry
• Creative thinker who stays ahead of PR trends, generates outside-the-box ideas, and translates them into impactful storytelling across diverse platforms
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of leading by example
• Leadership skills, with experience or strong potential to manage and develop high-performing teams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
• Analytical mindset with a keen eye for industry trends and opportunities
• Advanced proficiency in English
