Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounting team is looking for a proactive, detailoriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support LeadVenture’s rapid growth. This role is responsible for processing vendor payments, resolving invoice discrepancies, managing supplier relationships, and handling expense reports. It also contributes to monthend close activities and annual tax reporting.

Your Role

Invoice & Payment Processing

  • Process invoices accurately and on time in accordance with corporate policies.
  • Review and process PO requests based on internal guidelines.
  • Prepare and process the biweekly payment run.

Expense & Corporate Card Management

  • Review employee expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance; assist employees with questions.
  • Audit and reconcile corporate credit card transactions and maintain the corporate card program and related approval systems.
  • Manage and monitor the virtual card program and assist with vendor onboarding.

Vendor Management

  • Maintain vendor files and agreements; oversee vendor setup.
  • Manage 1099 reporting, including yearend issuance.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and respond to vendor inquiries.

Accounting Support

  • Perform cash reconciliations and monitor company cash accounts.
  • Assist with monthend close activities.
  • Support ongoing improvements to accounting systems and processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Associate degree in Accounting or Business (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • 2–4 years of Accounts Payable experience.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and detailoriented with strong timemanagement skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with NetSuite and Concur is a plus.
  • Strong problemsolving and communication abilities.
