Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Intern to join our Global Shared Services team in Milan. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, international finance environment.

As an AP Intern, you will support the Accounts Payable team with day-to-day activities across multiple entities worldwide. You will gain exposure to key accounts payable and vendor accounting processes, contributing to the smooth operation of our global finance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the processing of vendor invoices and credit notes
• Assist in verifying invoice accuracy and compliance with internal procedures
• Help with vendor account reconciliations
• Support payment preparation activities
• Coordinate with the Vendor Master Data team to support vendor data maintenance and updates
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Handle supplier inquiries under supervision
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth accounts payable processes
• Support the AP team with administrative and accounting tasks

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
• No previous work experience required (internship in accounting is a plus)

• Good knowledge of accounting principles

• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Knowledge of the Office package, in particular, Excel
• Excellent organizational skills
• Aptitude for working in team
• Ability for problem-solving

Internship Details
