✨The core mission of the Accounts Payable Associate:

The ideal candidate will play a vital role in handling the accounts payable process, ensuring the smooth and timely processing of invoices and payments while contributing to the overall financial health of Hack The Box. The AP Associate will also have the opportunity to sharpen their communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

🏢 Location & Work Mode:

When hiring in Greece, we’re open to candidates from all locations. Those based within 55 km of our Athens office will follow a hybrid work model. For candidates located beyond that radius, a fully remote arrangement is available.

You will be part of the broader finance team that consists of five people. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with Accountants and Financial Analysts. You will be part of a collaborative finance fellowship that values precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Process and manage vendor invoices and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
Perform reconciliation of accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy.
Assist in month-end closing activities and reporting related to accounts payable.
Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries.
Maintain and update vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documentation for payments.
Support the finance team in ad hoc projects.
Prepare and schedule payments.

🏆 Skills, knowledge, and experience points required to unlock the role of Accounts Payable Associate at Hack The Box:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Level 1: To complete level one’s objective, submit your application. After applying, you'll receive an invitation to our online standardized competency assessment, which will need to be completed before progressing further.
Level 2: Meet the Talent Acquisition team. Level’s objective: highlight your past achievements, ambitions, and values.
Level 3: Meet the hiring team. Level’s objective: connect with the hiring team and share with them your achievements.
Level 4: Complete an assignment that aligns with day-to-day job-related tasks and responsibilities. Part of the assignment is discussing it with the hiring team in a debriefing session, in order to walk the team through your thinking process.
Level 5: You've officially received an offer from HTB! To complete the last level and the Quest, all you need to do is accept the offer.
