Who we are looking for: Slate is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient processing of vendor invoices in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable working with enterprise ERP and procure-to-pay systems to support both direct and indirect procurement.

What you get to do: As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and maintain an efficient accounts payable system. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing vendor invoices while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Verifying and reconciling vendor statements, proactively resolving any discrepancies.
  • Maintaining accurate records of accounts payable transactions and vendor information.
  • Handling vendor inquiries and resolving payment-related issues efficiently.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to obtain necessary approvals for invoice processing.
  • Assisting with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.

 

What you bring to the team: We’re looking for someone with:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in accounts payable, billing, and invoicing.
  • Experience using NetSuite (our ERP) and Zip (our procure-to-pay system for indirect goods and services) is a plus.
  • Understanding of procure-to-pay workflows.
  • Ability to develop and refine desk procedures to optimize operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and good judgment when handling financial transactions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with vendors and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • High ethical standards and integrity in handling financial data.
