The
Account Director
is responsible for driving growth and expanding Cloud Carib’s footprint in the
Public Sector and Enterprise
markets within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex accounts, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering value-driven solutions to government and large-scale enterprise clients.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Account Management:
    Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in government agencies and enterprise organizations, ensuring long-term business partnerships.
  • Revenue Growth:
    Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the public sector and enterprise space, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Solution Selling:
    Understand client needs and align our products and services to deliver tailored solutions that drive value.
  • Public Sector Expertise:
    Navigate complex procurement processes, relationship dynamics, government regulations, and compliance requirements to secure contracts.
  • Enterprise Engagement:
    Work with enterprise clients to develop customized solutions, leveraging industry insights and business intelligence.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Partner with internal teams, including marketing, product, legal, and customer success, to deliver seamless client experiences.
  • Contract Negotiation:
    Lead negotiations, RFP responses, and deal structuring to ensure profitable agreements.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Track key account metrics, identify opportunities for growth, and proactively address challenges.



Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    Minimum of
    7-10 years
    in account management, sales, or business development, with a focus on public sector and enterprise clients.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of government procurement, contract vehicles, and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Relationship Management:
    Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives, procurement officers, and IT decision-makers.
  • Sales Acumen:
    Demonstrated success in achieving sales quotas and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
  • Communication Skills:
    Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Aptitude:
    Ability to understand and articulate complex technology or service-based solutions.
  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, or IT solutions to public sector and enterprise clients.
  • Familiarity with
    GSA schedules, cooperative purchasing agreements, and government funding sources.
  • Strong network within government agencies and enterprise organizations.
