Accounts Assistant

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team and contribute to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping:

• Perform essential bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and conducting bank reconciliations.
• Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments to employees.
• Prepare financial reports and support budget tracking and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with external accountants for tax preparation and financial audits.
• Monitor and track expenses to ensure they align with company budgets, providing insights for cost management.

General Support:

• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed by management, adapting to the evolving needs of a startup environment.
• Contribute to improving bookkeeping processes and procedures continuously, suggesting and implementing best practices.
• Support the team in streamlining operations and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in a startup environment is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
