Accounting Supervisor

The Opportunity: 

We, at Flywire, are looking for a dedicated Accounting Supervisor to join our growing global Finance team! This individual should strive for excellence in their work, be a great team player, and enjoy a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review journal entries in the accounting software for Flywire Solutions LLP subsidiary
• Review P&L Trends and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to external accounting consultants
• Be the main point of contact to India external accounting consultants: coordinate with Flywire accounting team, Accounts Payables team, Payroll team and Tax team to answer queries and provide supporting documentation to the consultants.
• Lead the statutory audit of Flywire Solutions LLP (be the main point of contact for external auditors, coordinate requests and ensure a timely and accurate audit completion)
• Work close with the rest of the accounting team and the Tax Manager, India to monitor and track progress of the month-end close process and provide necessary support for different tax filings (TDS, GST, Income Tax, etc.)
• Provide effective and timely follow-through with internal and external inquiries.
• Maintain compliance with local accounting standard and regulations (e.g., U.S. GAAP, SOX)
• Assist with ad-hoc reports and projects as needed

Here's what we are looking for : 

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance
• 4-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an audit firm
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Leadership experience
• Experience working in international firms
• Strong attention to detail, while still being able to multitask in challenging situations
• Excellent analytical and computer skills
• Fluency in English, as it is the company’s working language; other languages are a plus
