Accounting Specialist

The Senior Accounting Specialist mission:

Be responsible for the activities performed by the current Accounting Specialist, which range from recording transactions (expense accruals, payment to suppliers, recording investments, to name a few), performing bank reconciliations, generating reports such as paymentlog and expense analysis, as well as supporting the delivery of information to external auditors.

The expected outcomes:

1. Perform monthly expense analysis
2. Segregate the paymentlog on a monthly basis
3. Perform operations records, as released by the areas involved (expense and cost provisions, record of payments to suppliers, record of payroll, record of investments, bank commissions and bank interest, to mention a few).

• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Proven experience with ERP systems is a plus
• Advanced skills in Excel and other MS Office tools
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Support monthly reconciliations and documentation for bookkeeping.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Previous experience : 5–7 years of experience in bookkeeping roles
• Technical skills:
  • Knowledge of accounting practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Ability to prepare financial statements
  • Knowledge of taxes
  • Knowledge of electronic banking and payments to suppliers control of fixed assets and depreciation calculations
• Education / Credentials : • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Public Accountant)
