Accounting Operations Analyst

Salla is one of the fastest-growing e-commerce platforms in the MENA region, delivering innovative technology solutions that empower businesses to scale rapidly. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an Accounting Operations Analyst to join Salla’s Controllership Department, reporting directly to the VP of Finance. This role focuses on handling cross-department financial operations, ensuring smooth coordination between finance and other teams, and resolving manual or exceptional financial processes efficiently and accurately.

The ideal candidate has a strong accounting background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams to ensure operational efficiency and financial accuracy. And demonstrates strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Jira or other ticketing/issue-tracking systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite or similar).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial operations.
• Hands-on experience managing payment operations, including payment reconciliations and settlement processes.
• Proven experience in financial operations within marketplace, e-commerce, fintech, or logistics environments.
• Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
• Professional working proficiency in English (written and verbal).
