Your future position
The Finance team is looking for a GL accountant that will be responsible for the general ledger accounting, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of financial statements and accounts and maintenance of balance sheet schedules for UK, Singapore & UAE. As part of this role, you will be reporting to the Lead Accounting Manager and partnering with many different stakeholders across all Kpler entities.
Your mission is to:
Take ownership for GL Accounting for UK, Singapore and UAE.
Enter financial data and transactions into the ledger.
Reconciles and maintains balance sheet accounts.
Perform account analysis, cost accruals, bank reconciliations.
Review financial documents for accuracy and reconcile accounts.
Analyse financial data and provide financial recommendations.
Perform corporate tax calculations and prepare and issue tax filings (e.g. GST).
Assist on the preparation of management accounts and statutory financial statements.
Assure compliance and accuracy to our financial statements by performing checks as part of our internal processes.
Backup Support /cover other GL team members in case of absence or during peak periods.
You could be a match if you have:
3-5 years of experience in a related accounting role.
BSc in Business Admin, Accounting, Finance.
analytical skills.
Effective problem solving skills to identify and correct financial discrepancies.
Strong technical accounting skills.
Knowledge of accounting standards, with experience in an international capacity.
Proven ability to work on a team and independently.
Ability to juggle conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Any professional accounting qualification will be considered a plus.
Knowledge of Netsuite (ERP) will be considered a plus.
