Richardson Electrical / Accounting Manager / Seabrook, NH    Richardson Electrical is seeking an Accounting Manager, to be based in their Seabrook, New Hampshire office. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting, and reporting activities and will be involved in overseeing and directing the daily accounting operations of the company.  Requirements of the Accounting Manager:
  • 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience in an equivalent role 
  • Strong accounting background including experience with construction accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and payroll. 
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. 
  • Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy in work. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Experience using Foundation software or similar construction software helpful. 
  • Ability to produce accurate work while meeting deadlines. 
  • Experience working in a small, fast paced organization. 
  • Experience working with labor union preferred but not required. 
  • Able to work year-round, Monday – Friday in Seabrook, NH office. 
  • Benefits of the Job:
  • Annual pay in the range of $75,000 to $95,000

  • Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
  • Plan, organize and manage all accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, financial reporting, and payroll. 
  • Collaborate with leadership to support financial decision making and growth initiatives. 
  • Support project managers and internal employees on financial matters such as cost analysis and financial guidance. 
  • Quarterly taxes, tax compliance and regulatory reporting compliance. 
  • Maintaining a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implementing a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk 
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements while ensuring compliance with GAAP. 
  • Payroll oversight 
  • Coordinate and prepare for annual audits. 
  • Coordinate and assist with bond requests. 
  • Supervise assistant bookkeeper. 
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Assist with renewals for DCAMM and other certifications.
