Accounting Manager

AI overview

Manage day-to-day accounting operations while building in-house processes and overseeing multi-entity consolidation for a B2B SaaS startup.

About iVerify

We are Experts in Mobile Threat Hunting. The first mobile threat hunting company to protect mobile devices like any other vulnerable corporate endpoint.

The mobile security market has a problem. Simply put, current solutions fail to meet the sophistication of modern threats or the growing privacy desires of mobile device users. We believe that it is time for something new. Not only because we care deeply about the safety of frontline users like journalists and activists - many of whom are doing important and often dangerous work - but because enterprises and consumers deserve real protection from advanced mobile threats without sacrificing privacy.

We are building the first mobile threat hunting company to harmonize security and privacy in the face of a new class of mobile threats. Supported by some of the most well-respected VC firms, we aim to become the go-to mobile security solution for individuals who want to know they can trust their devices with their most sensitive information – without sacrificing privacy.

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, extremely detail-oriented Accounting Manager who understands the needs of a B2B SaaS company and thrives in a startup environment. You will manage our day-to-day accounting operations, oversee our external accounting partners (primarily US-based, with additional support in the UK), and work closely with the Head of Finance & People to transition accounting in-house.

This is the ideal role for someone who wants to build, improve, and own processes - not just maintain them.

What You’ll Do

  • Day to Day Accounting Oversight: Manage the full month end close, accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc

  • Build In House Ops: Partner with Head of Finance to migrate accounting operations internally

  • Global Consolidation: Coordinate with US/UK partners to ensure accurate multi entity consolidation and tax compliance.

  • SaaS Specifics: Partner with Sales on correct revenue recognition for contracts and manage sales commission verification.

  • System Optimization: Assess and optimize the use of our current accounting and finance tools: QBO as our GL, Ramp as our expense management platform and Subscript as Billing platform

What You Bring

  • Experience: CPA preferred with 5+ years of accounting experience (2+ years at Manager level).

  • B2B SaaS experience is a must: You are fluent in deferred revenue, bookings vs. billings, and subscription metrics.

  • Technical: Deep proficiency in modern accounting software and billing platforms.

  • Mindset: You are a builder. You are comfortable working in a fast paced startup environment where you have to design the process before you execute it.
