BASIC FUNCTION

The Accounting Manager will implement and manage corporate accounting processes and procedures that contribute to the Company’s growth and success.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of general accounting, process customer invoices, accounts receivable, cash application, accounts payable and payroll.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Complete monthly accounting close timely and accurately.
  • Ensure reconciliations are current, accurate and prepared monthly.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls; recommend and implement improvements to accounting policies, documentation, and workflows.
  • Support external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to inquiries.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and other departments to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.
  • Lead and supervise other finance team members, providing performance feedback and guidance on priorities and task management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, plus 4+ years of related, hands-on experience, including independent performance of financial/accounting processes. 
  • Thorough knowledge of Finance/Accounting practices and business management. 
  • Expert working knowledge of NetSuite and Microsoft Excel required.
  • Excellent analytical and reasoning skills including sound judgment.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and highly confidential information professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others in various organizational and functional levels to resolve matters of interrelated responsibility, while exercising a high degree of tact.
