ACCOUNTING MANAGER, CORPORATE AND CONSOLIDATIONS

This role will lead the corporate accounting team in overseeing the month-end close, all general accounting functions. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely financial statements that support strategic decision-making and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment, managing complex consolidations across multiple entities while driving process improvements and mentoring a team of accounting professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the global GL financial close process and related activities to ensure complete and accurate financials in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including
  • Manage/review close activities such as journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analysis and consolidation within the established close timeline
  • Prepare and/or review monthly, quarterly, and annual divisional balance sheet schedules
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff while creating and promoting a supportive work environment
  • Work closely with stakeholders in Tax, FP&A, Financial Reporting, and other business units to build and implement creative solutions and ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with auditors to ensure team’s accurate and timely submission of requested documentation.
  • Perform ad hoc duties and analysis as assigned by management.
  • Participate in ERP financial system transformation projects and other special projects, as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • 7+ years of professional experience 
  • CPA license
  • U.S. GAAP and IFRS experience

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Combination of public accounting and industry experience
  • “Run it like you own it” mentality with the ability to thrive in a high paced, ever-changing environment
  • Deadline focused and loves being in the office working face-to-face with teams
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with MS Dynamics 365 or other ERP accounting systems
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly with Excel
  • Ability to inspire, mentor, and teach
  • Familiarity with SQL

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • This position is based in Hawthorne, CA (Los Angeles area), and requires being onsite full-time – hybrid and remote work will not be considered

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:      

Pay range:      

Manager, Accounting: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00/per year                    

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
