Accounting Manager | AYANA Komodo

AYANA Hospitality is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the finance team at AYANA Komodo. This role involves overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and producing accurate financial reports. The Accounting Manager will work closely with other departments to improve financial processes and guide strategic financial decisions within the resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the assets of the resort.
• Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Coordinate the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support decision-making.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all accounts and resolution of discrepancies.
• Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and monitor performance against targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
