About the Position

The Accounting Manager will work closely with the Assistant Controller and other members of the finance and accounting team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records. The Accounting Manager will also play a key role in month end close, consolidation, fixed asset reporting, sales and use tax reporting and providing support during audits.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Work with the Assistant Controller for the month end financial close process, ensuring accurate recording of transactions
  • Prepare Journal entries, accruals and reconciliations of balance sheets accounts (including prepayment, accrual, other assets, lease, etc.)
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly sales detail reports
  • Work with subsidiaries for monthly financial reporting package
  • Manage the Fixed Asset module in NetSuite
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls 
  • Support the Assistant Controller with audit preparations
  • Assist with the monthly sales and use tax reporting
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA certification preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Manufacturing/life science industry experience highly desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Netsuite
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Has the ability to handle multiple high priority projects with accuracy
  • Experience with both domestic and international companies highly preferred

Salary Range:

The base salary range is $130,000 – $150,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
