Responsible for Full-Loop Accounting and tax cycle to ensure all local reporting aligns with the global policies, reporting formats, and internal control frameworks of the parent company as well as compliance with both local Thai regulations and international reporting standards. 

Key responsibilities

  • Entire Accounting Cycle Management: Lead the full accounting process, including review daily transaction recording (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger) through to month-end and year-end closing.
  • Financial Closing & Accuracy: Oversee the timely monthly closing process, ensuring all accruals, prepayments, fixed asset depreciation, and reconciliation of sub-ledgers to the general ledger are accurate.
  • Financial Statement Analysis : to ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) in compliance with IFRS or local GAAP.
  • Tax Operation & Compliance: Ensure all tax filings are accurate, including VAT (PP30,36), Withholding Tax (PND3, 53, 54), Corporate Income Tax (PND51, 50), and Specific Business Tax if any.
  • Compliance & Audit: Ensure all accounting records comply with Thai Accounting Standards (TAS), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Thai Revenue Department regulations.
  • Statutory Financial Statement : Liaise with statutory auditors, Revenue Department (RD) and Department of Business Development (DBD) to ensure accurate and timely reporting as well as responsible for annual financial statutory financial statement filling
  • BOI report : performing annual report 
  • Transfer Pricing documents : work with HQ and tax consultancy to complete the annual local file.
  • Stakeholder Management : Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, banks, Revenue Department, and government authorities.
  • Process improvement : Implement process improvements and streamline workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function
  • Project assignment : Participate and support new projects as required to drive positive business outcomes. Assist in cross-functional projects requiring finance expertise

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting with CPD or CPA.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of proven experience in full-loop accounting with at least 3–5 years in leading the team. 
  • Strong knowledge of the Thai GAAP, IFRS,  Thai Revenue Code, VAT, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Income Tax.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good command of both oral and written English for reporting/emailing
  • Excellent communication skills with both result and team oriented mindset.
  • Advanced command of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Complex Formulas) for management reporting.
