What we’re looking for: As the Accounting Intern for Rapsodo, you will have a strong attention to detail, experience with invoicing and payment processing, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: Responsible for aspects of A/P for the Rapsodo US entity. This includes but is not limited to processing and tracking vendor invoices, assisting with purchase orders, performing three-way matching, and ensuring timely payments.
• Month-End Close: Responsible for month-end closing process and quarter-end reporting
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency. Support in special projects and processes improvement initiatives.
• Financial Reporting: Weekly reporting on Aged A/R, Aged A/P, order backlog, and any other ad hoc reports as assigned
• Data Processing: Retrieve, organize, and make use of large data sets to report on financial KPIs
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or possessing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel
• Able to handle tasks independently and within a tight deadline
• Can-do attitude and problem-solving skills are a must
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
