Accounting Clerk

We are looking for a highly motivated Accounting Clerk for our team here in Queretaro.

This role will be responsible to be involve in normative and accounting practices. You will be working and reporting to a Finance Manager on site.

ACTIVITIES AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Accounting and Tax Knowledge

• Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or local standards)
• Understanding of VAT and local tax fundamentals
• Basic knowledge of tax documentation and compliance
• Basic exposure to intercompany accounting processes
• Preparation of journal entries
• Accounts Payable processes
• Familiarity with the General Ledger
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Understanding of cost center allocation
• Document control and audit preparation
• ERP management
• Management of recurring and automated journal entries
• Preparation of accounting schedules for tax returns
• Variance analysis (vs. budget or historical data)
• Posting of payroll and social security contributions
• Posting of international payments
• Review and posting of invoices in accordance with tax requirements
• Management of CFDI and tax validations

Requirements

• Degree on Accounting
• 3 or more years of experience in accounting
• High sense of responsibility (Accountability)
• English B2
• Service-oriented approach toward internal stakeholders
• Excellent time managing
• Autonomous work and excellent reporting
• Initiative, great team work and continuous improvement
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas)
• Effective communication in English and Spanish
