Your Mission 

We are looking for an Accounting Associate to join our fast-growing finance team. Reporting to our Accounting Associate Team Lead, based in Cyprus, you will be supporting the team on the monthly reporting and assisting in the quarterly and yearly auditing requirements.

Our finance team based in Cyprus is looking for the next rock-star to join the team and benefit from the experience and the team collaboration. We are looking for an individual who is a team player and knows that if we all work together, we will be able to meet our deadlines.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Multi-currency accounting entries and adjustments
  • Support monthly processes
  • Month-end closing procedures
  • Income and expenditure reconciliations
  • Balance sheet Accounts reconciliations
  • Accounts payable, management of supplier accounts, and invoice queries
  • Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
  • Respond to requests for information from various stakeholders, including auditors, tax consultants, and other internal managers.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of bookkeeping and VAT experience - A Must
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and complex organization
  • Excellent use of MS Office (Excel) – A Must
  • Familiarity with ERPs (such as SAP Business, Oracle) - An advantage
  • B.A in Accounting and Finance or similar – An Advantage
  • Professional Qualification (CAT, AAT Holder, LCCI or ACCA Student/Trainee) - An advantage
