How we do it

Our flagship product, Intale Point, is a retail management software that helps stores issue receipts, manage stock and orders, review important statistics and many more. Currently, over 2000 stores use our software across Greece-Cyprus. Our users vary from small local independent stores to national retail chains, petrol stations and catering restaurants.

The Role

Intale is now seeking an Accounting Associate to join our dynamic team.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and providing support to our accounting partners and financial officer.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and keeping track of financial records
• Assist in month-end and year-end closings
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
• Reconcile customer and suppliers balances, verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
• Track, classify and record warehouse movements
• Perform day to day payments of various expenses and suppliers
• Create and update records and databases with personnel, contracts, financial and other data
• Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
• Make travel arrangements when necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Knowledge of ERP software (ideally Epsilon Pylon) and MS Office (especially Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Knowledge of Greek tax regulations is a plus
• Native Greek Speaker is required
• Very good knowledge of English language
