As a Accounting Assistant, you will be an integral part of our finance team, providing support in various accounting functions while ensuring compliance with our policies and procedures. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain experience in a fast-paced environment and contribute to our success.

  1. Assist in processing invoices and payments accurately and on time
  2. Support accounts payable and receivable functions
  3. Help in preparing monthly financial reports and reconciliations
  4. Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audits
  5. Review and validate expense reports for compliance with company policies
  6. Perform data entry tasks and update accounting databases
  7. Participate in improving accounting processes and systems
  8. Handle other administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Either a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field or Level 1 ACCA
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work on-site at our location
  • This is a contract position, so availability for a predetermined duration is required.
