Jalasoft is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for mantaining the company's accounting in accordance with International Accounting Standards in order to obtain timely, reliable, and useful financial and accounting information for decision-making by the company's management. Also, ensure proper compliance with the processes related to the area, such as the Purchasing, Fixed Assets, and Internal Control policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide complete, timely, relevant, and verifiable accounting and financial information that enables Jala Global's CFO, Accounting Manager, and General Manager to evaluate alternatives and make decisions.
  • Coordination with the rest of the areas to ensure compliance with the Company's policies and procedures, including the Purchasing process..
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Participate in the planning of preliminary and final audit tasks. Assist auditors throughout the process. Prepare and deliver the documentation and information requested for audit procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Responsible for accounting closing and associated tasks, including bank reconciliations, asset amortization calculations, reconciliation of the Fixed Assets module with accounting, issuing invoices to clients in the accounting system, recording payments and reconciling client accounts, analyzing accounting accounts, recording entries and provisions received from the People department.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting ( Is a MUST)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
  • IFRS knowledge and experience (Is a MUST)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with QuickBooks or similar is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills in English; advanced level is preferred.
