Accountant – US Accounting & Reporting (Zoho Required)

Role Overview

KDCI Outsourcing is looking for an experienced Accountant with a solid background in US accounting to support end-to-end financial close and reporting activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate books, clean reconciliations, and reliable financial reports for US-based accounts. You’ll work closely with bookkeepers and accounting leads, acting as a quality gatekeeper for postings, reconciliations, and month-end deliverables. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-driven, comfortable owning close-related tasks, and confident working within US accounting frameworks using Zoho and QuickBooks.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Execute and support monthly close activities in line with US accounting standards and timelines.

  • Review bookkeeper entries to confirm correct account coding, completeness, and consistency.

  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries with proper supporting documentation.

  • Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.

  • Assist in preparing internal financial reports and draft financial statements for review.

  • Maintain and update rolling cash flow forecasts, factoring in AP, payroll, and incoming deposits.

  • Monitor for unusual transactions, variances, or control gaps and escalate as needed.

  • Coordinate closely with bookkeepers and accounting leadership to close open items efficiently.

  • Provide accurate updates and documentation to accounting leadership.

  • Support ad hoc accounting initiatives and improvement projects.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Hands-on experience supporting US-based accounting or financial reporting.

  • Strong understanding of US accounting practices and month-end close processes.

  • Required experience using Zoho accounting tools in a professional setting.

  • Working proficiency in QuickBooks.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet close deadlines consistently.

  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Comfortable learning and navigating accounting systems and tools quickly.

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions.
