Encora is seeking an Accountant to support our finance operations for their international entities. This position reports to the Division Controller with primary responsibility of assisting in the monthly financial statement close and associated reporting. The Accountant will play an integral role in the accounting function within our Finance department. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to perform hands on day to day tasks, as well as engage in different accounting activities.
Required Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Excellent communication skills, fluency in English and Spanish is required

Solid experience with general ledger accounting.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced).

Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assist with the month-end-close process accurately and timely in conjunction with corporate deadlines
- Prepare monthly journal entries and schedules such as prepaids, accruals, deferred revenue, fixed price percentage of completion etc.
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations
- Support in the monthly payroll process
- Assist Division Controller in monthly analysis and reporting
- Support the accounts receivable and accounts payable departments regarding customer – and supplier payments
- Review vendor invoices and provide general ledger coding
- Prepare revenue adjustments for fixed price and subcontractors accruals
- Provide support to department managers and other finance personnel in the preparation, understanding, and use of financial information
- Ability to support various audits and internal reviews
- Handle other duties and special projects as assigned
