As an Accountant, you will be part of our Accounting team in Athens and you'll play a crucial part in the supervision of the accounts payable and operations expense recording, control the general ledger accounting for all Group entities and assist with the monthly financial closing process and the financial statements preparation.

A Day in the Life of an Accountant at Qualco will include: 

• Posting of invoices and ensure compliance with local tax regulations;
• Issue and verify customer invoices and ensure compliance with tax regulations;
• Handle fixed assets acquisitions, disposals and depreciation;
• Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable and payable balances;
• GL account reconciliations on a monthly basis;
• Preparation of reports and analyses as required;
• Liaise with auditors and internal stekeholders;
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes;
• Support financial process improvements and automation efforts;
• Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

• University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent;
• 3-5 years of relevant experience;
• Proficient in accounting software and working with large ERP systems, specific experience in Microsoft D365 systems will be considered as asset;
• Strong communication and social skills;
• Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking and work under pressure and tight deadlines.
