Accountant

Location: Must report to the Greenwood Village office 3x weekly

We are looking for an Accountant to manage the general accounting and financial processes of our company.

The Accountant is responsible for executing day-to-day accounting functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close.  This role will also carry out some relevant administrative duties.

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Review and process A/P
  • Maintain daily payment activity, which is inclusive of booking payments, reconciling activity, and handling related inquiries
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist with audit requests and documentation
  • Fulfill administrative duties as needed
  • Develop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures, recommending changes
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
  • Report to the Accounting Manager and work to improve financial processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of accounting experience preferred
  • Understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Acumatica, Netsuite, Quickbooks, or similar)
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc)
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Confidentiality and integrity

Compensation and Benefits: 

  • Competitive salary rate based on skills, experience, and qualifications, ranging from $65,000-$82,000
