Accountant

Job Title: Accountant Location: Pasadena, CA Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our growing team in Pasadena. This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and assisting with month-end close and reporting processes. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and committed to maintaining strong financial controls. Key Responsibilities: Perform general ledger accounting functions, including journal entries and reconciliations Prepare and maintain financial reports and records in compliance with GAAP Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Maintain and reconcile bank accounts and other financial statements Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis Help with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of professional accounting experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems) Strong understanding of GAAP and basic financial principles High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills
