The Accountant plays a dynamic role that is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial accounting of our North American (N.A.) market as well as the ability to build relationships on a global scale as many business partners (i.e. global senior management, group finance or HR) are located in Europe. You will manage the day-to-day accounting functions for EGYM Inc. including Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.
You will review and verify employee expenses for policy compliance.
You will prepare account reconciliations and execute internal control procedures to guarantee accuracy and integrity of EGYM financial results.
You will be responsible for the cash flow management and forecasting for the N.A. business.
You will help ensure the company follows US GAAP and will serve as an integral point of contact for external audits, gathering all necessary documentation and support.
You will work with EGYM Global Teams to iterate, automate, and improve financial procedures and reporting processes.
You will assist in the preparation of monthly financial results, ensuring N.A. data is ready for group-level consolidation.
You will be flexible and ready to tackle special projects as the N.A. footprint continues to scale rapidly.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA and or CPA is a plus but not required).
You bring at least 2 years of Accounting experience, preferably in a corporate, international, or high-growth environment.
You have the confidence to work independently but also comfortably as a member of a team.
You have strong excel skills (think: pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualization).
You show excellent organizational, time management and follow through skills.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
You are able to work onsite at our Denver, CO office 2-3 days per week.
You will be able to independently execute North American month-end close processes within a 3-business-day window, ensuring all data is finalized with the precision required for global consolidation.
You will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the EGYM business cycle, allowing you to proactively prioritize high-impact tasks and manage your workflow with full autonomy.
You will be able to act as a vigilant gatekeeper by identifying and rectifying policy non-compliance, partnering with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
You will be able to drive a culture of "constant improvement" by identifying at least one process bottleneck and implementing a scalable, tech-forward solution.
You will earn an annual base salary of $70,000 - $85,000
