Accountant

TLDR

This role involves handling a full set of accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring departmental targets are met through effective collaboration.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Handle full set of accounts including cash flow, month/quarter/year-end closing,

GST and year-end audit activities for clients.

· Prepare unaudited financial statements.

· Convert financial statements into XBRL format.

· Prepare tax computations for Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) and financial statement disclosures purposes.

· Collaborate effectively within teams, supporting the Manager in achieving departmental targets.

· Attend and facilitate (as appropriate) all status meetings, client meetings and client calls

· Communicate effectively with internal departments and clients to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

· Perform other ad-hoc duties or assignments as required.

ESSENTIAL QUALITIES

· Degree in Accountancy/ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent

· Fresh graduates with strong academic results are encouraged to apply

· Diploma holders with relevant experience may apply

· Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, including experience in the related fields

· Meticulous and good analytical skills

· Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines

· IT Savvy, knowledge of cloud-based accounting software required

· Capable of working independently with minimal supervision

· Results-driven and motivated to achieve excellence.
