The Accountant/Auditor is responsible for performing a variety of accounting and auditing tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role involves analyzing financial statements, preparing reports, validating import/export transactions, and serve audits to support the company's trading and wholesale financial integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years experience working as an accountant or auditor in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with tax laws, budgeting, and internal control systems
- Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions
- Verify accuracy of import costing and review customs documentation
- Ability to analyze financial data and compile reports for management review.
- Review inventory valuation and warehouse stock movements.
- Certification as a CPA or similar qualification is a plus.
- Working experience in the Chemical Trading and Wholesale Industry is a huge plus.
- Must be willing to work from Monday to Saturday.
