As an Associate Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Daily accounting missions
  • Entering AP and AR invoices.
  • AP / AR reconciliation.
  • Maintaining accounting software integrations.
  • Posting vendors payments.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Credit card reconciliation.
  • Assisting with month-end closing preparation.
  • Maintaining client’s database.
  • Maintaining vendor’s files up to date.
  • Posting entries to accounting software utilizing import from other software.
  • Analyze differences and being able to provide recommendations.
  • Posting and reconciling entries from reimbursement tools.
  • Report analyses

Requirements

If you have:

    • Completion of at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance   
    • At least 1 year of experience in an accounting firm 
    • Expertise in Excel, demonstrating proficiency in advanced functions and data analysis 
    • Ability to respect deadlines and proactively communicate in advance if unable to meet them. 
    • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while maintaining a strong sense of teamwork. 
    • A commitment to maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information. 
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and solve problems effectively 
    • Strong ability to use technology tools and quickly adapt to new systems 
    • Proficiency in French and English along with eligibility to work in Morocco. 
    • Occasional business travel within Morocco may be required during onboarding
