About the Role:
We are seeking an Accountant to join our global accounting team in a high-growth SaaS environment. This role is ideal for someone coming from public accounting, particularly a Big 4 or 10 top firm who is ready to move beyond audit and into a position with real ownership, operational impact, and cross-functional exposure.
Approximately 60% of this role focuses on core accounting responsibilities, including month-end closing, journal entries, and bank reconciliations. The remaining 40% provide hands-on exposure to treasury and global cash management, offering a unique opportunity to broaden your skillset beyond traditional accounting.
You will work closely with the Tax & Treasury Manager and Assistant Controller, gaining direct visibility into global operations, cash strategy, and financial decision-making across a multi-entity, international organization. This is a hybrid position based in either our Carlsbad, CA or Bethesda, MD office, with a minimum of one day per week onsite.
What You'll Do:
Accounting (Approximately 60%)
Manage and review journal entries during month-end close
Manage and review bank reconciliations
Support general ledger accuracy and financial reporting
Assist with internal control compliance and audit support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data
Treasury (Approximately 40%)
Monitor daily cash balances and assist with cash forecasting
Support global cash positioning to ensure timely payroll and vendor payments
Execute payments and maintain banking templates
Record bank transactions accurately in NetSuite
Maintain relationships with banking partners
Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes and automation
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of experience in accounting or public accounting
Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset
Comfortable working in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Public accounting experience, ideally with a top 10 firm
Experience in a multi-entity or fast-paced environment
Multi-entity experience with international exposure
Experience with NetSuite ERP and/or FloQast
Interest in developing treasury expertise and expanding responsibilities
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000-$85,000 per year. The final offer will depend on several factors, including the successful candidate’s skills, depth of work experience, location, and relevant licenses/ qualifications. Each offer is determined based on individual strengths and relevant business considerations.
In addition to the base salary, certain roles may qualify for a performance-based incentive and/or equity, with eligibility depending on the position. These rewards are based on a combination of company performance and individual achievements.
