Objectives of This Role:
This role requires extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills. You’ll be responsible for providing leadership in account management, including day-to-day account activities and strategic guidance to clients. You must have a solid understanding of all things digital. We’ll require you to work with other agency account leaders to facilitate optimal client service and a quality experience. This role will increasingly be involved in the strategic direction of a single brand while mentoring and encouraging junior staff. People both inside and outside the agency look to the account supervisor to get the job done.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Take responsibility for the development of projects
- Responsible for understanding all tools/processes necessary for a well-running account (workflow process, creative briefs, financial management, etc)
- Assist in SOW development; able to draft SOW with direction (descriptions, tactics, budgets, and timelines) while collaborating with management
- Collaborate with the project management team to manage project budgets and provide financial tracking
- Support the account team in brand plan development, engaging appropriate team members accordingly
- Understand all the tactics for the brand and identify any additional gaps in marketing tactics
- Support the account team and participate in workshops and brainstorming meetings internally and with the client
- Communicate strategy and tactical plans effectively across the team
- Develop strategic and actionable project briefs and project palates
- Actively monitor the headlines for current brand and competitor news, trends, and white space opportunity
Job Requirements:
- 4 to 6 years of pharmaceutical advertising agency experience
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal skills
- Media experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review processes and systems
- Understand FDA rules/regulations and the life cycle of a brand
- Active client service management, working directly with clients and executing projects
- Strong multitasker: ability to run multiple projects, priorities, and client demands
- Solid grasp of brand operations: understanding the nuts and bolts of the account (brand style guide, PRC process, key data, etc)
- Solid understanding of Veeva systems and client requirements
- Understand industry trends and guidelines (eg, CAN-SPAM, privacy policy, etc)
- Understand brand fundamentals (positioning, messaging, creative concept) and how they all work together
- Understand market research methodology and approaches
- Understand the brand’s/account’s key customers
- Understand competitors and advocacy groups for each account/brand
- Understand the role and use of analytics
- Understand the core strategic elements of the development of a multichannel strategy
- Understand capabilities within the media group and Shift
