As an Account Manager, this is what you’ll be doing:


You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our client relationships and driving the success of student recruitment partnerships. You will work closely with university recruitment, admissions, and marketing teams to deliver results, enhance client engagement, and drive revenue growth. With a mix of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, you’ll help lead the way in strengthening QS’s position as a trusted partner in student recruitment.

Role responsibilities


Revenue & Client Management:

  • Manage and renew client contracts within your portfolio, ensuring timely execution and growth opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and increase revenue through upselling and new service offerings.
  • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with university recruitment, admissions, and marketing teams, ensuring the successful delivery of client strategies.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving any issues and maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
  • Conduct bi-annual enrolment reporting, presenting compelling ROI stories to clients.
  • Leverage client and market data to help universities shape their enrolment and marketing strategies, positioning QS as a strategic partner rather than a service provider.
  • Use insight-driven recommendations to influence client decision-making and support long-term revenue growth.
  • Proactively share data-backed best practices and benchmarks to help clients improve recruitment outcomes.


Operational & Strategic Execution:

  • Monitor and track client progress, managing risks and ensuring all deliverables are met in a timely manner.
  • Identify patterns and trends in performance data to anticipate risks, inform interventions, and guide clients toward more effective recruitment planning.
  • Support clients in interpreting insights dashboards and reporting tools, ensuring they understand how data informs strategy and execution.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for operational or strategic improvements.
  • Participate in key client training, learning sessions, and industry conferences.
  • Assist with reconciliation process and invoicing procedures.


Reporting & Data Analysis:

  • Provide regular updates and reports on client activity, including student sentiment, market trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Transform complex analytical outputs into simple, compelling narratives that guide university decision-making.
  • Use industry benchmarks and comparative analytics to highlight efficiency gaps and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Develop forward-looking insights as part of regular reporting, helping clients forecast recruitment trends and plan more effectively for future cycles.
  • Prepare and deliver End of Cycle presentations to clients, showcasing the value QS brings to their recruitment strategies.
  • Contribute to discussions around industry challenges and growth areas.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously while delivering results.

  • Comfortable working with dashboards, CRM systems, and performance analytics tools to extract insights and drive strategic conversations.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to influence client strategy and decision-making
  • A positive, proactive approach with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Excellent project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in customer management and influencing client stakeholders.

Desirable Experience:


  • Background in higher education or knowledge of tertiary education processes and procedures is preferred.
