What you’ll do: 

As an Outbound Account Manager at carsales, you’ll be responsible for building strong relationships with dealer management teams across your portfolio. This is a phone-based role focused on developing long-term partnerships that deliver value for both our clients and carsales. This role can be based in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast.

Your work will involve understanding each dealer’s business objectives, challenges, and priorities, then using that insight to recommend tailored solutions from the carsales product suite. You’ll provide advice, education, and support to help dealers get the most from their investment and achieve their growth goals.

  • Manage existing client relationships and understand their business needs.
  • Provide strategic analysis of dealer performance and recommend solutions.
  • Advise on best practice for dealership performance and ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver complete solutions for clients.
  • Track all client interactions through CRM tools and manage your pipeline.
  • Achieve revenue and retention targets through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Support clients with product updates, training, and feature adoption.

What are we looking for?

This role is best suited to someone commercially minded, with a strong phone presence and a consultative approach to account management.

  • Previous experience in customer or account management and B2B sales.
  • A proven track record in phone sales with consistent revenue delivery.
  • Understanding of dealership operations and the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of digital media and advertising.
  • Excellent phone manner and communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a solutions-based approach.
