As an Account Manager at FDC, your role is characterized by its dynamic nature. Your primary responsibilities involve the cultivation and maintenance of relationships with up to 35 high-value international clients, as well as the leadership and supervision of a team comprising up to 10 individuals.
Your team consists of Content Creators, who are tasked with the creation of content for our clients, and Account Executives, who engage in outreach activities on behalf of our clients.
In your capacity as an Account Manager, you bear the critical responsibility of devising effective strategies for overcoming client-related challenges and subsequently delegating these tasks to your team. Furthermore, you serve as the primary liaison between your team and the client.
While this role is undeniably demanding, we provide extensive support throughout your journey. This support is twofold, encompassing professional coaching from external life and business coaches, as well as dedicated training from our in-house team, specifically tailored to assist our Account Managers.

Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact for up to 30 clients
- Act as a manager for up to 8 team members working on your client's accounts
- Ensure a positive and professional client service experience.
- Maintain quality assurance for our KPIs.
- Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships.
- Build and maintain a strong pod culture of performance
- Manage the client onboarding process for new clients joining a pod
- Develop and maintain strategic objectives for each client by completing and maintaining.
- Maintain and report on internal strategies implemented by senior management.
- Prepare reports on account statuses and send them to the client: Look over reports done at the end of the month and suggest improvements, aesthetical changes and spot-check for accuracy.
- Help identify and develop new business avenues with existing clients.
- Identify operational gaps and provide solutions to streamline operational efficiency and effectiveness within their pods and client-facing communication.
- Drive integration of cross-functional teams for effective client management.
- Ensure on-time delivery of work by adhering to weekly and monthly deadlines.
- Manage, analyse, and forecast the financial performance of the pod
- Develop, manage, and plan for optimal service capacity within the pod.

Work across departments to ensure the pod is effectively run like a mini business unit in service delivery.
- Drive innovation and manage change of new initiatives within the pod environment and report on the efficiency of new systems and processes implemented.
- Have in-depth knowledge of content strategy and be able to propose and steer change for clients in terms of content if it is not performing.
- Have in-depth knowledge of Sales Navigator and be able to create saved searches and help social sellers with targeting for clients.
- Have in depth knowledge of the standard sales and outreach process for clients and be able to advise and help social sellers with script creation and alteration to produce better lead results for clients.
- Work with the Audit specialist to analyse and correct any red or yellow flags on accounts once an Audit has been completed.
- Check clients' weekly status document and weekly status report to see if your team are filling it in correctly. Also be able to analyse the figures of the weekly status figures to see any shortfalls and make corrections.
