Job Description:
The Account Manager for IDEAL will serve as the sole dedicated point person responsible for managing and growing relationships with partner banks in the home loan sector. This role covers all aspects of bank partnership management, including pitching, negotiations, operational coordination, performance monitoring, and identifying opportunities to deepen collaboration.
As the only Account Manager dedicated to bank partnerships, this position is highly critical and high-impact. You will act as the primary liaison between IDEAL and our partner banks, ensuring strong engagement, smooth operational alignment, and sustained growth in loan volume and partnership performance.
Key Responsibilities
Banking Partnership Management
Manage end-to-end relationships with partner banks to support IDEAL’s mortgage aggregator operations.
Act as the primary liaison for all partner banks, facilitating smooth communication across product, operations, finance, legal, and marketing.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in home loan, credit, partnerships, and mortgage teams.
Lead partnership onboarding, requirements gathering, documentation, and operational alignment.
Business Development & Growth
Identify opportunities to expand collaboration, increase loan conversions, and deepen product adoption among partner banks.
Develop joint business plans, pitches, campaigns, and product initiatives tailored to bank partners.
Coordinate with internal teams to prepare proposals, campaign strategies, and customized platform integrations.
Analyze partnership and loan pipeline performance, identifying gaps and recommending strategies for improvement.
Operations & Escalation Management
Monitor mortgage application pipelines, ensuring movement and timely resolution of issues and escalations.
Work closely with banks to improve turnaround times, documentation workflows, and customer experience.
Facilitate cross-functional problem solving across internal teams to resolve partner-specific operational challenges.
CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (Hubspot) regarding partner interactions, pipeline updates, and account health metrics.
Prepare and present structured weekly and monthly reports on:
Partnership performance
Loan volume and conversion rates
Risks, escalations, and mitigation plans
Business development progress and opportunities
Minimum Qualifications
At least 3 years experience in a B2B sales or partnership role
Experience in home loans at major Philippine banks is preferred, preferably in roles such as: Broker/Developer relationship within home loan teams, etc
Proven track record in managing corporate, institutional, or banking relationships with strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong understanding of home loan products, banking workflows, credit evaluation, and mortgage market dynamics in the Philippines.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
Experience in sales, client retention, upselling, lead pipeline management, or collections is an advantage.
