Purpose of this role:
The Junior Account Management Support Intern will assist the Account Management team in daily operations, data handling, and reporting activities. The intern will play a key role in maintaining customer-related documentation, updating reports, and supporting analytical and administrative tasks that contribute to sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.
This role offers hands-on experience in account management processes and a great opportunity to understand cross-functional collaboration in a global corporate setting.
This is a long-term, part-time position (min. 20 hours / week), suitable for university students seeking a career path within the KOSTAL Global Business Services organization.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Support account management activities related to customer data, documentation, and reporting.
- Assist in preparing Excel-based analyses, reports, and KPIs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and organize customer information, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Engage in activities related to managing and updating customer documentation, including pricing and workflow processes
- Coordinate with sales and other departments to support follow-ups, open item tracking, and process updates.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying and suggesting optimization opportunities.
- Participate in internal projects, documentation updates, and administrative tasks related to account management.
- Assist in reporting, data consolidation, and preparation of presentations for management and customer audits.

Contribute to cross-departmental communication, aligning with key stakeholders on status, progress, and open actions.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of internal processes, templates, and documentation standards.
- Ongoing university studies in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields at least until January 2027
- Eligible for part-time student employment (min. 20 hours/week).
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and general confidence with the MS Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Fluent English (written and spoken). Basic German knowledge is an advantage.
