Role Purpose

As LevelTen Energy’s Account Management Intern, you will support the growth and engagement of our customer network across Europe. This is a formal academic internship through a university agreement (Convenio de Prácticas Académicas) in accordance with Spanish regulations.

You’ll gain hands-on experience managing client relationships, supporting platform adoption, and helping drive the conversion of free-tier accounts into active subscribers. This role provides a strong foundation in business development, customer engagement, and CRM operations within the renewable energy sector.

Time Frame

  • Duration: 3-6 months 
  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Location: LevelTen Energy office in Madrid, Spain (on-site)

What You’ll Learn

Reporting to the Senior Director of Account Management, you will gain practical experience supporting client engagement, data management, and market growth initiatives across Europe. You will learn to work with Salesforce, develop communication and presentation skills, and contribute directly to revenue-driving activities.

You will gain experience in:

  • Client Engagement: Managing inquiries from free-tier accounts and providing platform support.
  • Sales Enablement: Conducting onboarding sessions and demos to increase client adoption.
  • CRM and Data Integrity: Maintaining accurate account data and identifying high-potential leads.
  • Market Research: Supporting expansion efforts in new European regions and market segments.
  • Operational Improvement:  Identifying process and systems improvements to improve and scale workflows. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound requests from free-tier users and provide platform guidance.
  • Execute introductory sessions and demos for potential subscribers.
  • Support targeted campaigns that move active free accounts toward paid subscriptions.
  • Maintain and improve account data accuracy within Salesforce.
  • Qualify leads based on activity levels and usage patterns.
  • Conduct research on emerging market opportunities and prospective clients.
  • Assist with report preparation, client materials, and performance tracking for the Account Management team.
  • Refine, automate, and document workflows, using tools such as Outreach / Account Engagement / Generative AI, or by improving process. 

Qualifications

Required

  • Currently enrolled in, or eligible through their university to complete, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program that allows participation in an academic internship (Convenio de Prácticas Académicas).
  • Strong interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or business development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (working language).
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Coursework or experience related to business, marketing, or energy.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in another European language (preferably Spanish, French, or German).
  • Experience or coursework related to professional communication or client relations.

Additional Information

This internship is part of a university-company agreement (Convenio de Prácticas Académicas) and is designed for learning and professional development as part of an academic program. To participate, students must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at an accredited university. The internship does not create an employment relationship with LevelTen Energy.
