Summary

The Account Maintenance role is responsible for supporting merchant account operations by processing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring accuracy across multiple systems. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively under tight deadlines. The role involves interacting with internal departments, responding to inquiries, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism while delivering accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize proprietary databases to complete account setups and distribute necessary paperwork to appropriate departments.
  • Research, review, and respond to all incoming correspondence promptly and accurately.
  • Process daily tasks, including tickets, emails, queue work, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve merchant-related issues efficiently.
  • Receive and resolve inbound cases with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Demonstrate consistent performance and reliable attendance.
  • Partner with Underwriting and Onboarding teams to support process efficiency.
  • Understand and manage company forms and paperwork requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations.
  • Maintain flexibility to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace required.
  • Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
