Account Executive - North America

TLDR

Own end-to-end enterprise sales for North America, generating your pipeline, managing complex deals, and collaborating closely with the CEO.

Intro

North America is our biggest growth opportunity, and we need a hunter to own it. 
You'll own enterprise sales for North America end-to-end: generating your own pipeline, running complex multi-stakeholder deals, and closing contracts. There's no warm book of business waiting for you: you're building it from zero.
You'll work closely with the CEO, and you know how to identify the right accounts, get in the room, and win.

Your tasks

  • Pipeline generation: prospect and qualify your own leads across North America's most emissions-intensive industries. You define the targets, you open the doors.

  • Full-cycle enterprise sales: own deals from first outreach through to signed contract. You manage discovery, multi-stakeholder processes, negotiation, and close.

  • Subject matter credibility: show up as a genuine sustainability and supply chain SME in front of procurement leads, CFOs, and sustainability directors. In a complex, technical space, trust is everything.

  • Customer onboarding: support new customers through their first steps to ensure early success and lay the groundwork for long-term retention and expansion.

  • Market intelligence: bring what you learn in the field back to Marketing and Product: regulatory shifts, competitor movements, and prospect pain points that sharpen the roadmap.

Your profile

  • Enterprise B2B sales experience: you've closed complex, multi-stakeholder deals and you know what a long sales cycle feels like from both ends. You build your own pipeline, not dependent on inbound.

  • Strong connections and fluency in the North American market: you understand how enterprise buying decisions are made in the US and/or Canada.

  • Knowledge of sustainability, ESG, supply chain, or industrial sectors: you can speak credibly to procurement directors and CFOs about why carbon data is a business-critical issue, not just a compliance box.

  • Comfort operating in a startup environment: you don't wait for a playbook, you build one.

  • Based in Germany (Munich or Berlin) but willing to travel to North America for events, conferences, and customer meetings.

  • Fluent English: additional languages a bonus.
