SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly driven Account Executive (AE) to manage and grow our SLED (State, Local Government, and Education) market segment. This role focuses on building strategic relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue through consultative selling of our IT services and solutions. The ideal candidate understands the complexities of public-sector procurement, excels at navigating long sales cycles, and can engage with senior decision-makers across government and educational institutions.
This is a mid-level Account Executive position. The successful candidate will work with assigned accounts and also bring new business to New Era Technology in a manner consistent with our reputation, as well as enhancing it. You will work to deepen and widen our relationship within accounts while searching to discover additional opportunities for our wide suite of solutions. Excellent communication and relationship building skills and the ability to learn and understand New Era’s technology offerings are key requirements of this position.
PRIMARY DUTIES include but not limited to: Account Executive shall be responsible for cultivating and managing sales opportunities in specified markets and a designated geographical territory. Duties include, but are not limited to:

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3 - 5 years of experience selling in the SLED market segment.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Office hours for business communication are 8am-5pm. However, additional time maybe required based upon opportunities, client needs, and other related work
TRAVEL: Throughout assigned territory. Additional travel may be required for client and corporate needs that will be coordinated.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: English
